About

I’m a second year Master’s student at Stanford University, studying Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Computer & Network Security. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, I was the 2014 Class Valedictorian at Athens College, Greece. I graduated Cum Laude from Yale Univeristy with distinction in Computer Science in 2018, and lived in Branford College, “the oldest and most beautiful” courtyard, for all four years. As a college freshman I tried out CS, and was fascinated by the pace at which one can acquire knowledge and apply their skills in the field of technology.

Through coursework, extracurriculars, and full-time positions, I have now developed software in various languages, operating systems, and programming paradigms. I present some of them in the Projects section, and refer to my Github profile for all software I am allowed to publicly display.

From 2015 to 2018, I was involved in teaching CS50 (cs50.yale.edu), the largest introductory Computer Science course at Yale (and Harvard) University, and in 2016 – 2018, I was CS50’s Head Teaching Assistant. I am very passionate about my work and our collective accomplishments, so take a look at my CS50 page.

Music is my main source of inspiration. I have studied classical piano since I was 5; I bought my first guitar at the age of 15; I now practice both instruments ceaselessly. My favorite artists include Coldplay; The Killers; Billy Joel; The Decemberists; Pink Floyd;  David Bowie; Dire Straits; The National; Placebo; Cage the Elephant; and so many more. For a sample of extracurricular activities I pursued over the years, visit The Arts section.
